At Adventure Air we are a close knit family of aviators and we welcome you to join us. We strive to offer a comfortable learning environment that is safe, fun and functional. Much like our aircrafts.
Henry began his adventures in aviation over 30 years ago when
he became certified by the FAA as an instrument-rated private
pilot, flight instructor and master parachute rigger.
Pete has been a flight instructor for over 51 years with over 4,000 hours of dual instruction. He has the necessary knowledge and experience to offer extensive oral exam prep. He was awarded the coveted FAA Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award in 2018. Being a retired airline pilot allows him to fully focus on, and enjoy, gyroplane instruction!
Jeremy Bechtold has had a lifelong passion for aviation. After graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Air Force Reserve, where he cultivated his deep-rooted love for flight. During his career in law enforcement, he trained as a helicopter pilot, soloing in the Robinson R-22, and played a key role in supporting his department’s airborne law enforcement operations.
Following an early retirement, Jeremy transitioned into the world of aviation full-time and became an integral part of Adventure Air. He manages the company’s YouTube channel, oversees its website and marketing, and recently achieved his Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certification. Now, he is actively training students, sharing his expertise, and inspiring the next generation of pilots.
John comes to us from Lincoln, England. He is both Instrument and Commercial rated in single and multi engine aircraft. A specialist in aerial warfare with an emphasis on the Battle of Britain. He races historic race cars and played rugby for England's under 19 team.
As our Operations Officer, Pam Mitchell is at the forefront of overseeing all aspects of our flight school's operations. She is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of safety, coordinating schedules, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our flight training programs. Her unwavering commitment to excellence has made her a respected leader in the aviation community.
Walter, a retired culinary chef, joined Adventure Air during our days at Hawthorne Airport (HHR). He is an accomplished gyroplane mechanic and holds many certifications through AutoGyro and Rotax. He is building his flight hours with plans on becoming a CFI. He recently helped complete a 3 day build of a milestone MTO Classic while at Oshkosh Airventure 2023.
