Jeremy Bechtold - CEO and Chief Flight Instructor
Jeremy Bechtold is the owner of Adventure Air and serves as the school's Chief Flight Instructor. Since taking over the company from founder Henry Boger, Jeremy has continued Adventure Air's mission of providing safe, professional, and enjoyable gyroplane flight training while expanding its reputation as one of the nation's premier gyroplane training centers.
With more than 500 hours of logged gyroplane flight time, Jeremy has trained pilots from all backgrounds—from first-time aviators to experienced fixed-wing and helicopter pilots adding a gyroplane rating. He is passionate about helping students become safe, confident pilots through patient instruction, practical experience, and a strong emphasis on aeronautical decision-making.
Before entering aviation full-time, Jeremy served in the US Air Force Reserve as a Crew Chief for the C-141B Starlifter and then became a police officer. Today, he combines those experiences with a lifelong passion for aviation to lead Adventure Air's growing flight school, maintenance operation, and training programs. Under his leadership, Adventure Air has become the trusted training provider for pilots across the country, including the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School.

Garrett Le - Senior Flight Instructor
Garrett Le is Adventure Air's Senior Flight Instructor and brings a wealth of experience to every lesson. A Commercial Gyroplane Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Garrett has logged more than 900 hours of gyroplane flight time, helping students build the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become safe, proficient pilots.
In addition to his gyroplane experience, Garrett is an Airplane Single-Engine Land (ASEL) Private Pilot and owns and flies his own Diamond DA20, giving him a well-rounded aviation background that benefits students transitioning from fixed-wing aircraft.
Known for his calm demeanor, patience, and commitment to safety, Garrett enjoys sharing his passion for aviation and helping each student reach their flying goals. Whether you're pursuing a gyroplane rating or simply looking to improve your skills, Garrett is dedicated to making every lesson both enjoyable and rewarding.
Henry Boger - Senior Flight Instructor
Henry Boger is the founder of Adventure Air and one of the most experienced gyroplane instructors in the country, with more than 4,000 hours of gyroplane flight time. He established Adventure Air in Hawthorne, California, before relocating the school to Chino, where it continues to thrive today.
A seasoned aviator, Henry also holds a Private Pilot certificate with Multi-Engine Land and Instrument ratings. In addition, he is a Master Parachute Rigger, bringing decades of aviation knowledge and technical expertise to every aspect of flight.
After selling Adventure Air to Jeremy Bechtold, Henry stepped into semi-retirement to pursue his passion for movie production in Hollywood. While his primary focus has shifted, he remains an instructor with Adventure Air, continuing to share his experience and mentor the next generation of gyroplane pilots. His legacy is woven into the foundation of the school and continues to shape the high standards of training that Adventure Air is known for today.
Erica Bechtold - VP of Operations
Erica Bechtold serves as Vice President of Operations at Adventure Air, bringing extensive leadership and management experience to the company. Prior to joining Adventure Air, Erica built a successful career in retail management, including serving as a District Manager for Wherehouse Music in the Los Angeles area, where she oversaw multiple locations, managed teams, and was responsible for day-to-day operational performance.
At Adventure Air, Erica helps keep the organization running smoothly behind the scenes, overseeing business operations, administrative processes, customer experience, and supporting the continued growth of the company. Her strong organizational skills and people-focused leadership help ensure that Adventure Air maintains the professional, welcoming environment our students, aircraft owners, and customers have come to expect.
Outside of Adventure Air, Erica enjoys rockhounding and photography, combining her love of exploration with an eye for discovering and capturing the unique details of the world around her.
Kyla Bechtold - Chief Administrative Officer
Kyla Bechtold serves as Chief Administrative Officer at Adventure Air, where she plays a key role in the day-to-day administrative operations of the company and helps shape Adventure Air’s presence across social media.
Kyla brings several years of management and customer-service experience to the team, having spent the past three years as a store manager for a local franchise. During her time there, she developed a particular talent for social media and brand presentation. Her work gained the attention of the company’s corporate leadership, who used her social media content as the standard for other franchise locations throughout the organization.
At Adventure Air, Kyla combines that experience with a focus on office administration, customer communication, organization, and consistent social media content. She’ll also often be the first friendly face you see when you walk through the door, helping make students, customers, and visitors feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
Longtime followers of Adventure Air may already recognize Kyla—she has made appearances in several of our YouTube videos over the years. Now, she’s taking on a much larger role behind the scenes and helping Adventure Air continue to grow both at the airport and online.
